Noro Akeboshi
Named for the Japanese word for morning star, Akeboshi captures that quiet little moment before sunrise when the sky is still dark and the first hints of light begin to appear.
This is Noro doing what Noro does beautifully: color that moves. Each of the seven colorways travels through rich, layered shades, shifting from deep, grounded tones into unexpected little flashes of brightness. It’s self-striping, but never predictable.
A luxurious blend of 85% wool and 15% silk, Akeboshi has the warmth and substance you want in a winter yarn, with silk adding a subtle lustre and lovely drape. The generous 150-gram skeins make it especially satisfying for larger, cozy projects, with approximately 295 yards per skein.
